Sabini Estate
A splendid natural habitat of stone and ferula that exists in the Alta Murgia, the Sabini Estate, besides being a family-run farm, which owes its name to Count Ceglie Sabini, is a site of remarkable natural interest. Inside you can in fact visit the stone jazzo for sheep and cattle, the underground pools for collecting rainwater, the caves and their artifacts, a splendid aviary with different species of birds – considered the direct descendants of the dinosaurs – and finally walk among more than 1,200 species of spontaneous plant varieties.
